Synopsis
A world where the apocalypse is predicted and a huge meteorite is getting closer. The main character cannot endure the fear of death and tries to disappear from the world by throwing away all her memories and belongings. At the end of her escape, the huge tidal wave she encounters destroys everything. However as she sees her pet turtle swimming leisurely in the waves, she realizes the beauty of the moment and resolves to live “one day” again.
Purpose
Due to the worsening climate crisis, anxiety and helplessness felt by individuals are becoming widespread. Amidst the changes felt through the eyes and body, the thought that I cannot do anything on my own leads to pessimism about the future. It expressed the helplessness of feeling that everything was meaningless and the vague fear of the end. However, even in such a world, if we understand that there is no turning back, we can face the present. If we do not cling to or hold on to the past or be overly afraid of the future that hasn't arrived yet, we may be able to live fully in this moment. Just like a turtle swimming leisurely along the current.
