Out of the Shadow

· Synopsis	The child gets his own room as the family moves into a new house.He experiences a night of fear as he sleeps alone, away from his parents for the first time.He tries to overcome the fear of the night by fighting monsters with the shadow man, a clone he created by ‘Shadow play’ which he used to play with his parents.

What is going to happen to Jay?

· Synopsis	Chae-eun, suffering from academic stress by her mother, brings an origami robot home instead of her workbooks, by accidentally changing her shopping bag at the playground.Chae-eun was surprised at first, but after when the robot folded her a beautiful bird origami,she had fallen in love with it which made her neglect her grades.Then one day, Chae-eun witnesses Grandma Junwoo, who was looking for the lost robot, which made her terrified.As she goes through hearing harsh comments from her mother for not going to her academy and meeting Grandma Junwoo in the elevator frequently made her escape by going to the playground.Barely hiding inside the rides, Chae-eun feels resentment towards the robot, pushing it away. Unexpectedly, the robot falls hard and breaks down, causing a loud “beep- beep-“ alarm.Chae-eun destroys the robot in fear of being caught but is soon discovered by her mother who came after her. Her mother takes Chae-eun back, making her apologize to Grandma Junwoo and Chae-eun returns to her pressured life.

Jun-hee decides to accept all gravity and to throw herself in the dark.She rises above the river after passing through the deep darkness.The water gradually drains and the floor is revealed. It's a ‘Goshiwon (cage home for examinee)’ where she lives.Jun-hee sees glow-in-the-dark stars, posted by someone who passed through the room.

Brother(Game)Sister

Shim Chung

· Synopsis	Shim Chung, who visited smugglers to save her father's eyes, is in trouble. This film is a modern adaptation of the Korean classic novel Shim Chung as a short animation.

The Night the Stars Chorus – For the Lonely Death of Lee Sangchun –

· Synopsis	This animation is based on the poem [The Night of Singing Stars] written by IM Hwa to mourn the death of LEE Sangchun. LEE was IM’s contemporary and a member of the Korean Federation of Proletarian Art who died at the young age of 28. He was an actor and artist who joined the movement for Korean independence at a young age, but he ended his own life under the repressive Japanese regime. Perhaps the reality of his story is reflected in the deaths of workers in the present day.
